Mindful Growth Collective- About Our Therapists

Mindful Growth Collective was founded by Steven and Jade Miller. Steven and Jade created this group practice with the aim of creating a neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy. They are both personally neurodivergent, and have a passion for providing services that are accessible and celebratory of the unique differences that each individual brings. STEVEN MILLER MS, LPC, NCC, ASDCS, CADC III (he/him) Steven is a licensed professional counselor, certified alcohol and drug counselor, and certified autism specialist serving folks in Oregon. He believes meaningful change comes from understanding ourselves more deeply, especially the parts of us that feel difficult, unwanted, or overlooked. Steven is passionate about working with the adult neurodivergent population (ADHD, Autism, etc.), substance use, depression, anxiety, and trauma (cPTSD or single-event). His special interests in psychology and religion/spirituality have always steered him toward this profession. He is open about being neurodivergent and leverages that experience to help others. JADE MILLER MS, LPC, CADC I, ADHD-CCSP, ASDCS (she/her) Jade works great with quirky, intuitive, artsy, or musical LGBTQIA+ teens and adults looking for a warm therapist who can help them work through trauma, increase self esteem, and find their creative and authentic self again. She offers a neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy and provides an individualized approach to therapy and frequently incorporates IFS, EMDR, Expressive Arts, ACT, Strengths Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and creativity. She is a licensed mental health therapist, a certified drug and alcohol counselor, a certified ADHD specialist, and a certified Autism specialist. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Steven Miller: For over a decade, Steven has proudly served his community in the Rogue Valley. He has extensive clinical experience in working with the substance use population at intensive-outpatient co-occurring centers and has achieved a CADC III - showing his expertise in this area. Additionally, he is very familiar with 12-step work. He has also worked in community mental health for several years, treating a wide range of conditions. During this time, he discovered the population with whom he works best and began carving out a niche in this area. Jade Miller: Jade has worked extensively with neurodiverse adolescents and adults. Jade was selected to speak at the Summit Conference in 2024 discussing her work to create preventative spaces on campus to address student mental health needs while working collaboratively between agency and school professionals to create low barrier access to care. She was also selected to participate in the Jackson Youth System of Care Acute Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services Committee working to prevent and treat youth substance use on a larger community level. She has been a guest speaker in multiple university classes and has a passion for professional development and training. Jade has been working as a therapist since 2020 working with youth and adults, neurodiverse populations, mental health, and co-occurring substance use. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked primarily in the arts running a dance program and starting her own business as a cake decorator.
